Micro’s goal is to make creating, sharing, and using Urbit apps as easy as TikTok. ^[1] Micro’s app creation studio allows you to build an Urbit app right in your browser and publish it to Micro immediately. With a little help from ChatGPT, you can make and deploy some really cool stuff in just minutes. ^[2]

I showed Micro to ~littel-wolfur last week, and he's already used it to build simple MySpace and YouTube apps. The other day, I built and published a tiny melody sharing app in 15 minutes. ^[3]

Regular Urbit apps can integrate with Micro too. If you install Board from ~ridlyd, you’ll see it in Micro. Devs can push apps to Micro when something happens (like a message coming in, or a stream going live) and it’ll be the next thing you see, no notifications necessary. ^[4]
